About Daisy Sage

Daisy Sage was a  New York bohemian artist character in Phillip Barry’s Broadway hit, “The Animal Kingdom” and 1932 film of the same name.  Ahead of her time, Daisy  supported herself with illustration work while she developed a career as painter.  She had a warm heart, and was a loyal friend, but was no wimpy pushover.   She didn’t spend a whole lot of time worrying about what other people thought of her.

Here I take up the mantle of the Daisy Sage character, and supplement it with my contemporary opinions on contemporary things.  Although as they say, the more things change, the more they stay the same.  And, as Daisy said, “For all our big talk, you know, we still do belong to the animal kingdom.”
